About Jennifer Iserloh

Growing up in a family of passionate cooks and chronic over-eaters, Jennifer struggled for much of her early life with weight issues. Over time, she started to cook healthier and eventually addressed her weight issues head on by becoming a professionally trained chef and certified yoga instructor.

As the Skinny Chef, she's made it her mission to make typical American dishes healthier, while focusing on great taste and awesome flavors as the key ingredients for sustainably controlling weight -- without fad diets, deprivation or guilt.

On her blog, SkinnyChef.com, she's been sharing her philosophy on healthy cooking and living for more than five years, through more than 500 articles, recipes, videos and podcasts. Her recipes have appeared in many places, including People Magazine, In Style, Self Magazine and Real Simple, and she was the recipe developer for Joy Bauer's "Food Cures" and Jessica Seinfeld's "Deceptively Delicious". Jennifer has appeared on the Today Show, CBS, Montel Williams' Living Well and Better TV as well as on radio stations across the country.
